The “Authentic Talks” is authentic speeches of people who connect with the field of sports, in a direct or in an indirect way, through their experiences. It is about authentic stories from personalities with a status, who are role models in their fields of expertise. Through their personal life experiences, they will be able to deliver their values and ideals to the audience, the same ones that Marathon stands for and therefore “Marathon of life”.

Authentic Talks

Marathon race represents the big effort, the process when a person is exceeding their capabilities, but also the values that sports stand for. It is the personal struggle of each runner, who stands at the historic place of the city of Marathon and is looking forward to the start of the race. It is the distance, in which a runner –just by running it- can realize, test and overcome their limits…

PARELLEL EVENTS

Marathon Expo by OPAP, Universities’ Night Run by OPAP, torch relay “Marathon Flame” and more, make up a rich 4-days of events with a strong social and economical imprint for the city of Athens, the region of Attica and for the whole country of Greece.

ROAD RACES

By having the organizational responsibility of the best mass running event in the country and one of the best in the world, SEGAS will provide once more, high level races in order for the runners from all over the world to enjoy their participation. Starting the 2-days running events from the 10km road race by OPAP, the 10km Universities’ Night RUN by OPAP, the 5km road race by Stoiximan and reaching out to the established historical route of the Authentic Marathon race, professional athletes, runners and spectators will become part of this big celebration of sports.
